Our Prime Rib Roasts are sold individually vacuum-sealed in heat-stable packaging. This makes it easy for you to thaw in the refrigerator or keep frozen. The heat-stable packaging we use is sous-vide-ready, allowing you to easily add the vacuum-sealed roast to your sous vide water bath for cooking if that is your cooking method of choice.
The Prime Rib Roast is offered either as boneless or bone-in and comes in several different sizes. This roast is perfect for holiday entertainment, special occasions, or family gatherings.

Prime Rib Roast is best when cooked for a long time at a lower temperature. Prime Rib Roasts contain a decent amount of fat which is one of the reasons why they are so well-marbled and have an amazing beefy-rich flavor. When cooking Prime Rib for a long time at a low temperature it allows the fat to render down as it cooks, which keeps the roast tender and juicy! If you plan to grill your roast or cook it in the oven, it should take 1–3 hours depending on the size. Other cooking methods like sous vide, smoking and using a slow cooker will take longer depending on the method, but are sure to provide the tenderness and exceptional flavor you desire.

"USDA Prime" is a beef quality grade (beef is evaluated by highly skilled USDA Meat Graders to determine what quality grade it is). Although Prime Rib Roast includes “prime” in its name, it does not mean that it is USDA Prime grade.
There is no difference! The Prime Rib Roast is also known as a Standing Rib Roast, Ribeye Roast or Rib Roast.
The Prime Rib Roast is a cut from the Beef Rib Primal — known for its rich marbling, incredible beefy flavor, and tenderness. This roast is cut from the same part of the Beef Rib as Ribeye Steaks are. The difference is the Prime Rib Roast is left whole to be cooked as one roast, and Ribeye Steaks are cut from the raw Prime Rib to make individual steaks.
