Recipe Ingredients

1 lb. Vidalia Sweet Onion Ground Beef
1 tsp. Kansas City Steak Company Original Steak Seasoning
1 tsp. fresh ground coffee
2 tsp. chili powder
1 small jalapeno pepper, diced, seeds removed

1 tbs. tomato paste

1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes

1 (16 oz.) can dark red kidney beans

1 (12 oz.) water or dark beer

Cooking Instructions

Season Vidalia Sweet Onion Ground Beef with Original Kansas City Steak Company Original Steak Seasoning and ground coffee. Brown ground beef in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer 1 hour until chili thickens to taste.

Note: If onions are not desired, use 1 lb. of Kansas City Steak Company ground beef without onions. For milder chili, omit the jalapeno.
